I’ve always wondered why bathroom drawers are so small. The bathroom is a place of storage for many things.

Kids Before Bathroom Drawers Organization
My before pictures are shocking…the drawers are empty! As soon as my daughter could crawl and grab things, everything would go into the tub or all over the bathroom. Bath time can be difficult enough without added messes. To keep my sanity I just removed everything from the drawers. As a house rule the bathroom door stays closed.
I’m going to put the munchkins bathroom supplies in the drawers. Since I have 2 drawers and 2 children, they will each get a drawer.
It’s been a couple years now, but I found these plastic silverware holders at the Dollar General for a $1 and they are perfect for the bathroom. The bottoms are open which makes it easy to clean and it has different compartments to hold your bathroom accessories. It keeps everything nice and organized. Plus we don’t have a lot of space around our sink and it would look cluttered with toothbrush holders, soap and all the other storage units you can put on your counter.
In his & her drawers will be their toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush/comb, washcloths, flossers, bandaids, small cups, boogie wipes and anything else they might need. The silverware holder works perfectly to hold everything in one place and it makes the items easy to find.
I found this cute drawer liner at the Dollar Tree. The draw liners make everything look nice and neat. Here are some tips to install shelf liner.
Dollar Store Bathroom Organization Hack
The kids are super happy to each have a drawer. As they are growing it’s good for them to independently be able to do things. They both love going into “their drawer” and getting stuff. They each needed a bandaid at some point the first day (don’t worry their were no real injuries) and loved going to get one. My kids love bandaids, do yours? I restock every time I go to Target in the dollar section.
Then I added in combs, brushes, and some washcloths. Plus I left room for more items they may need.
These silverware holders turned bathroom organizers have been one of the best things I have bought for a dollar. They work great for everyone in the family. Plus I have been using them for years and it has kept our bathroom cabinet nice, clean, and organized. Now that is a winning combo and I know they will do the same in the drawers.
In case you missed them, here is my craft drawer organization and my kitchen drawer organization.
