Cricut Thanksgiving Sign for Decoration

Have you ever started decorating for a holiday or season and been shocked when you don’t have something? I couldn’t believe it, but I didn’t have a homemade Cricut Thanksgiving Sign. I have this adorable and fun Fall Tabletop Dice, but that was it. My crafty friends and I are digging into our stashes and creating some new crafts just for you. These items haven’t been in my stash long (they are newbies) and were piled underneath stuff. So even though they are newer, they had been forgotten.
I seriously need to get my craft items organized. This Cricut fall project only takes about 10 minutes and is super easy to make. I used the Cricut Design Space File Thanksgiving Word Art MB81567c. I only used pieces of the image for this project that I liked.

Let’s Create a Cricut Thanksgiving Sign
I normally cut and paint wood for my signs, wow it was so easy to use a ready to go sign. Well my husband does all the cutting, but I still have to wait. This pallet pack of signs is from the Target dollar spot and comes in a set of 2 for $3. The 2nd sign is smaller.
In Cricut Design Space™ I sized the words to fit on the pallet sign. Once all the pieces were sized I cut them with my Cricut Joy, but any Cricut cutting machine will work.
The vinyl I used was also from the Target dollar spot and came in a pack of the orange plaid and the copper color together. They complement each other so nicely. I already had the brown from another pack of vinyl from Target. I had planned on adding the green leaves and swirls, but I decided I liked the sign without them. That’s the fun of DIY, do it how you like it!
Once all the vinyl words are cut, I weeded the designs. Weeding is when you remove the excess vinyl you don’t need.
Then with the transfer tape, I added the words to my pallet sign. I can’t get over how pretty this vinyl looks on the Thanksgiving sign.
