Halloween is a special holiday at our house. We go all out (just like at Christmas) with decorations inside and out and a month long of Halloween fun. My kids can’t wait for October! I found these cute orange bags at our local grocery store and my plan was to make them for my kids classroom, but the store never got anymore orange bags. Instead I’m going to make these cute trick or treat bags as Halloween treats for my kids.
I am really happy to work with our sponsor, Happy Crafters today to share this project with Happy Crafters HTV (Heat Transferred Vinyl). Below are some affiliate links and I may make a commission for purchases made through the following links.
My crafty friends and I are going through our craft stashes to make some fun projects to share. Sometimes you just forget what’s in your stash and its fun to find things to make.

I’ve had this Siser Easy Weed Electric Blueberry Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) for awhile now. I was waiting for the perfect project and this is it! Don’t let the name fool you, it’s called Electric Blueberry, but it’s a very pretty purple color. The camera just couldn’t capture the sparkle and shimmer of this HTV.

Let’s Create Happy Halloween Trick or Treat Bags
The hardest part for me is choosing the design for the bags. There are just so many great SVG’s out there. I chose this SVG from Cricut Design Space™ with my Cricut Access Premium. If your considering Cricut Access Premium, you should get it.
Size your design to fit your bag and cut your image. Remember for HTV to place the shiny side down and make sure the mirror image is on. Cut your design and weed it. This HTV was very easy to weed and the Cricut Bright Pad helps.
The little orange bags say made with polyester, but the heat from the Easypress was to hot and it melted my one bag. Just be cautious. I did 260 degrees for 30 seconds and it worked great.
The Cricut EasyPress works even better with the Cricut EasyPress Mat. I highly recommend getting the mat.
Fun Halloween Treat Bags for Kids
