My niece loves her play cake and carries it around all the time. It’s been her favorite toy for a while now. After watching her carry it around all summer when she came to visit, I decided to make her a personalized cake carrier for Christmas. We all know someone who loves to bake and has homemade goodies. A personalized cake carrier is a thoughtful and sweet gift for them.

Since this is for my nieces, who will be 4 soon, I bought the cake holder at the Dollar Tree. I’m going to be using her favorite colors and a little sparkle to personalize it. I asked my sister before creating this what she was currently into and she said “Princesses, the Hulk, and Captain America.” What a combination. I decided to go with a princess theme.
There is many cute baking sayings out there because I’m sure some adults would love a princess themed cake holder, but some might like a baking themed one, a monogram, or personalized with their last name. Another great idea is to personalize with a favorite holiday.

Let’s Create a Personalized Cake Carrier
Using permanent vinyl I’m going to design the personalized cake carrier with my nieces name “Samantha’s Bakery.” Then I’m going to add crowns and hearts around the cake carrier. I’m really annoyed with my camera because no matter how I took the picture, the darker pink is showing up red in the pictures. I used pink vinyl, soft pink vinyl, lilac vinyl , and holographic pink vinyl .
I designed it in Cricut Design Space™ using my Cricut Access Premium and used my Cricut Maker to cut it. Seriously the Cricut Maker is the best ever, if you don’t have one add it to your Christmas list.
Here is the top of the carrier with the wands, stars, crowns, and heart.
Of course I had to add some pretty ribbon to the handle of the cake carrier. All of the ribbon is from Dollar Tree except for the Princess ribbon, that is from Michaels.
My niece will be carrying her cake in style. I can’t wait to give it to her for Christmas. Do you know anyone that a personalized cake carrier would be a perfect Christmas gift for? I think I need to make one for me too, but I’m thinking of making some holiday ones for when I take treats to my munchkins school parties.
